Spring Call for Contributions – Pick Up Your Shovel! Dig Out Your Memories.
For the 21st Wyvern Newsletter (Deadline May 15th)
Some of you might remember—or have read about—the days of Estate Work, when Stanbridge students literally rolled up their sleeves, grabbed shovels, and tackled projects around the school grounds. Whether or not you experienced that first-hand, we want to capture that same can-do spirit for our next Wyvern Newsletter. This time, the “shovel” is your words, photos, and memories—helping our community grow and flourish, even decades later.
What We’re Looking For
We’re aiming for a May 15th deadline so we can feature your stories in the 21st Edition—just as spring bursts into full bloom! We welcome contributions from all eras, especially younger alumni from the 2000s who might not have shared before.
Short Stories & Anecdotes
2–3 paragraphs about a memorable Stanbridge moment.
For younger Wyverns, what was campus life like? For earlier decades, which lessons still resonate today?

Why Your Voice Matters
Since relaunching our newsletter, we’ve seen incredible engagement:
Thousands of total views across platforms
Over 70% open rates on some editions
Hundreds of Wyverns re-reading each release multiple times
It’s clear our shared history strikes a deep chord. By contributing your memories, you help create a resource we can share with younger generations—full of genuine experiences and a living legacy of what Stanbridge means to us all.
To submit your contributions, email them to benohanlon@pm.me by May 15th with "Wyvern Newsletter Contribution" in the subject line (this will help me organize them).
Spread the Word
Please share this announcement in your Wyvern networks, younger alumni groups, and social media feeds. The more voices we gather, the richer our 21st Edition will be. Your stories, large or small, keep the Stanbridge spirit alive.
Cheers,
Ben O'Hanlon
